About us

Small enough to care about every square metre. Big enough to turf a whole estate.

Founded in 2021, GP Landscape Construction has grown from a turfing crew into a BCA-registered landscape contractor working across HDB precincts, schools, parks and road projects island-wide. We are growing, and every job still gets a director on site.

Our story

Two letters, two generations of landscape work

GP Landscape Construction carries the initials of my father, Guan Po. He started out in 1995 with Hock Seng Po, then built Guan Po Construction over three decades of turfing, planting and site work across Singapore. The trade, the crew and the standards he kept were handed down to me.

In 2021 I set up GP Landscape Construction under his abbreviation to carry that work forward: the same hands-on way of working, now with BCA registration, ISO 45001 safety management and a company built to grow with the main contractors and agencies we serve.

    Shrubs, groundcovers, hedges and trees supplied and planted to drawing, with mulching, staking and defects-period replacement.

    Lightweight soil systems, drainage layers and planting for green roofs and sky terraces, coordinated with waterproofing and M&E trades.

  • Pegged turf on a roadside embankment

    Slope turfing & rectification

    Pegged turfing on steep batters, re-turfing of failed areas and settlement repairs ahead of TOP or final inspection, often at short notice.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work as a subcontractor to main contractors?

Yes. Most of our work is as a landscape subcontractor to main contractors on HDB, LTA, JTC, NEA, NParks and school projects. We also quote government agencies directly through GeBIZ.

What areas of Singapore do you cover?

The whole island. Recent sites include Tanjong Kling, Tanah Merah, Yishun, Toa Payoh, Choa Chu Kang, Tengah and Sembawang.

Do you supply the turf and topsoil?

Yes. We supply cow grass (Axonopus compressus) turf, approved soil mixture and topsoil through our regular suppliers, and lay it with our own crew and machinery.

How quickly can you quote and start?

We usually return a measured quotation within two working days of receiving drawings and the bill of quantities, and can mobilise within days of award.

Can you provide safety documents for site entry?

Yes. We are bizSAFE Star and ISO 45001 certified and provide risk assessments, safe work procedures, method statements, worker cards and insurance certificates on request.

Do you take on slope turfing and rectification of failed turf?

Yes. We peg turf on steep batters and embankments, re-turf areas that have failed and repair settlement ahead of TOP or final inspection, often at short notice.
